these cars r built off the old dodge neon chassis. there r numeroius more reliable better fuel economy vehicles in that class. most of them drive better as well.

the mazda is the best driver, the chevrolet the largest, the vibe/matrix the most reliable & best fuel economy.

My wife has a 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edition & we r looking for something new. It does have a lot of interior space for a small car. The seats fold down nicely making room for a lot of cargo. However, the benefits r outweighed by the problems. The mpg is subpar for a car of that size, it is top heavy & has a lot of body lean in cornering, & the interior quality is not that great. Only weeks after we bought it new, one of the rear fixed windows fell out because it was not glued in properly at the factory.

lot of space.great sound system..great handling.gas is well
i get roughly 18.9 mpg for the city (theres a gage that tells you that)
