Well l more need to know how to add coolant. I am not too good with cars, so l kinda need all the help l can get. I am not sure if it the coolant or not, but the temp rises extremely fast, and rests in the red zone the entire time l am driving.

There will be a large plastic bottle under your hood. It will have two lines on it that should be labeled cold and hot. Depending on weather or not your car is warm or cold. Eg. has been sitting so its cold or you just got done driving so its warm. The antifreeze should come up to either of those lines depending on its temperature.

To fill it up, WAIT UNTIL THE ENGINE IS COLD.
Then take the top off that same plastic bottle mentioned in the first answer, & pour in water/coolant mix, until it gets to the ''full'' line. Do not worry about over-filling it, the excess will vent off.

However, if ur coolant level is OK, or only a little low, & ur car is running in the red, then get it looked at, the problem may be elsewhere in ur cooling system
Or, if u top it up & the level drops again within a few miles, then get it looked at, there may be a leak
