My RKE will engage the alarm but not disengage it. When l unlock the door manualy the alarm goes off til l start the car. After lstop the car l need to get out and then reach in the open window to turn the car off without opening the door in order to keep it from beeping. l would just like to disable it completely.
my remote will engage the alarm but not disengage it. So it probably is a sensor, but l do not wanna pay for a diagnostic and repair right now just thought there might be an easy way to disable it, but l guess they have it pretty complicated to deter the car thieves. It is a stock alarm

either you didnt disconnect the right fuse or look in the manual to find were the alarm is and unplug it

If its an aftermarket alarm just diconect it from the abttery, but if its a stock alarm if u remove the fuse you might be loosing some features on ur car. have u tried ur remote if u have one ? i
