l am in the market for a used car and found this one for 10,980 with only 7000 miles... any thoughts???

They are not all that they are cracked up to be. But if you like the styling, then l say go for it. You may also want to look into the Chevy HHR. It is similar. The PT Cruiser is on a modified Neon frame and l would bet that a lot of parts are interchangable under the skin. Good Luck! :o)

those are pretty good vehicles ,and the mileage on that one is kind of low ,so it should be in good shape,and you still have a warranty left with it also,have it checked though,never buy anything no matter how good it looks until you have it checked out,other wise that is a real good deal on that one,good luck with it.

Check consumer reports (most libraries). Chrysler products usually rate the lowest in customer satisfaction because of repairs; in particular the check engine light is always coming on.

It is true. Consumer reports does say that Chryslers are somewhat reliable, but they are not safe at all! They fall apart easily and l think you should go with a Honda Fit. In fact, wait until the 2009 model comes out. It may have a high starting price of $17 or $19k, but it is worth the money. Honda and toyota are the most safest and the most reliable vehicles out on the market. Trust me, l have one. Has 40k miles and still runs like it is new. So ditch the PT Cruiser.
