how do you change the timing belt on a chrysler voyager 2001 plate 2.4 petrol

You will have to find the pivot arm. Put a socket and wrench on it and turn it. It will then pivot to loosen the belt. Make surer you have a good idea on how to put it back on. There is usually a picture on the underside of the hood. If the wrench will not fit on the pivot arm you will have to got to a parts store and pick one up. Cheap. All it is is just a little bit thinner to fit in tighter spots.Hope this helps.

u have to remove the right engine mount, belts, crank damper, timing covers, engine mount plate, r/f wheel & splash sheild, & miscellanious parts in the way. then u can replace the belt. it will take u at least 4-5 hours to change if u have never done it even if u r mechanically inclined. if u get it wrong or tension it wrong u can bend all of ur valves & u could break the valve guides & have to buy a new head. l recommend a manual or having it professionally done.
