Awww l am so sad they're going to discontinue it! l always annoy my mom by saying PT Cruiser, whenever one goes by, and she thinks it is ugly, oh well, she will treat this as good news

Yeah they stopped producing them, according to Consumer reports.

l drive a 2008 PT, my dealer told me it was being discontinued after 2009. Too bad, it is a great car, fun to ride, and l can get my hockey gear in!

They might stop the production of it. GO to forbes.com they have a thorough report about what vehicle is worth saving and what is a good write off. PT cruiser is not a good seller to Chrysler lately.

The convertible PT Cruiser was discontinued this year. The 2009 model is already shown on their site. One of our associates said he has learned that Chrysler has not decided yet whether there will be a 2010 PT Cruiser model. If you still want a PT after they're gone, go to GM and get an HHR, they were both made by the same guy. Chyrsler pist him off and he went to GM to design cars. l am personally glad the PT is leaving.
