2001 chrysler L4 2.4L, non-turbo. How can l get a turbo on it? any info?

they make a supercharge for the 2.4L thats the same motor the have in the stratus and pt

Look for a PT Cruiser club in your area and ask around. l am sure someone there can help you out.

l am pretty sure they make kits for this, try searching for 2.4 liter turbo kits. Try Hahn. They are not made nearly as strong as the factory 2.4 turbos in the pt gts and the srt-4s though so they would not have as much potential. Those things are absolute brutes. They will hold up to anything.

You said 2001 so whatever chrysler u have it is a 2nd Gen design -- u could find many of the SRT4 parts will fit.
If u already have a 2.4L engine -- it might be cheaper & a hell of a lot easier to find a wrecked SRT4 & install it is engine into ur car -- same engine - so the motor mounts should fit. I've known a few people who have been able to buy the engine & trans from a wrecked SRT4 for roughly $2000. Consider a 'turbo kit' will cost u $3000, it might be worth checking out. The other reason to just go w/ the SRT4 engine would be for the reliability -- the SRT is 2.4L has more oil gullies etc & is designed around being a turbo more so than the N/A 2.4L ..
