This is no straight easy way to get better gas mileage. The only way is to change your driving habits, or buy a new car. l read in car and driver that you should drive slow, avoid sudden acceleration, that sort of thing. Just google ''better driving habits'' and you should find something about how to drive for better gas mileage.
Here is a link l found.

when was the last time it had a tune up? do you drive it hard or tow alot of weight? tune ups help also if your tires are low they can affect fuel economy. also if you drive alot in the city, stop and go you wont get ''good'' mileage. other than that there isnt much you can do

Make sure ur air filter is clean. Many people do not change them out like they should, & a dirty air filter will cut down the fuel mileage.

Make sure the tires r at 32 psi when cold, lower pressure increases resistance, reducing the fuel mileage higher pressure decreases the resistance, but wears the center of the tire quicker than the outer tread. Replacing tires sooner will defeat the fuel mileage benefits of the higher tire pressure.

Accelerate smoothly from a stop, a slow steady acceleration instead of getting to speed as fast as possible as many people do. When coming to a stop, let off the gas as you're coming to the stop, then begin braking a ways back so u come to a gradual stop instead of stopping in a very short distance.

While driving around in town, roll the windows down instead of using the A/C, but at highway speeds, use the A/C since there is no real advantage of having the windows down over using the A/C. Of course, this is if you're not in an area where it gets very hot like it does here. No way l am gonna drive around here in the South without A/C on in the summer months.

Drive speed limit, or even a little under & it will use less fuel.

Also, fill up early in the morning when the fuel is cooler, that way u get the most fuel for what you're paying. It may be minimal, but every bit helps.

l realize that not all of these driving habit changes r practical all the time, but put them to use whenever u can. A mixture of all of these whenever possible will help u get the most out of ur fuel.

Only drive downhill...seriously it is a fairly big four cyl and a tall, not so light car. l am guessing 20 around town, mid to upper 20 is on the highway? That is about it for that car.
