l agree with you entirely. Unless they better their warranty, engines, and reliability; it is only a matter of time.

l do not think so,they have the Dodge Ram that had sales record in 2006,they own half of the van market, new Dodge Challenger coming out & the Jeep Wrangler is the #1 selling vehicle in the US right now.We r getting 2100 orders per day for the Wrangler & have sold over 150,000 with over 2 months till we have the model change over.If they get rid of some of the slow selling SUV is they would make a nice profit, l was told the profit from the Wrangler alone will be almost 1 billion dollars.

l think they will be just fine they have good products now and some pretty cool stuff on the way(challenger). l like chrysler products but hate their dealers but will probably buy another anyways.

Actually, probably not. The main reason being that GM may possibly buy out Chrysler. And the other reason is because Chrysler is blooming. Aside from the SUV & small car divisions, Chrysler is doing very well. And really, look at Chrysler is car vs. the competition. Chrysler has way more style. Thats the main thing that keeps them going. But do not forget that Chrysler has survived on it is own before. In fact, until 1998 Chrysler was not under Daimler, it was just Chrysler Corp. So obviously, they can survive on their own. And besides that, if Chrysler closes down, u also lose Dodge & Jeep.

BTW..
Dude at the top, l would not necessarily call Chrysler is unreliable. l drive a 96 Chrysler Concorde LX that has the 3.5L V6. That car has 176000 miles on it, & l have not put any engine work in it whatsoever, & it still runs as good as the day l bought it. No loss of power, nothing. The car just purs.

Daimler will retain about 20% of Chrysler as Cerebus investment funds owns just a tad over 80%. Cerebus will probably merge Chrysler credit and GMAC and will trim the workforce and the duplications in car lines. They will probably sell off the Jeep division and Mopar parts.
