hood wont pop on my chrysler

There r two bolts (with padded heads) on the front corners of the car body that the hood rests on when it is closed. There r nuts on the bolts to keep them from turning. If u loosen the nuts a little, then u will be able to turn the bolts in or out. Back them out just a little so that they become longer & then tighten the nuts again to keep the bolts from turning. This will put a little pressure on the hood latch so that the hood will ''pop'' when it is opened. Use caution & do not back the bolts out too far, or the hood will not latch properly when it is closed. That could make the hood pop up while u r driving down the road!!!! If u r not very mechanically inclined, maybe u can ask someone u know to help u with this adjustment. Good Luck. ( :

Have someone pull the hood release switch and at the same time, you push down on the area where the latch is. That will usually free up the latch so it will pop up. Or while doing the same, grab it and shake it up and down. Then grease up the latch so it wont do it again. Good luck!
